I have written a good quarter of my diploma thesis in this room in the Philosophenturm. Nice view, eh?
Once i had a f*ing 3GHz netburst processor. Before i got a cheap water cooler, i made a crappy duct from cardboard and scotch tape (tesafilm in germnay, better than scotch tape, but crap anyway).
A really old 'VW Bus', first generation. Really nice, especially the parted front window, its rare these days.
Summer 2006, or maybe 2007, there was a very noisy demo/party/thingy going on near the old Speicherstadt (they call it 'Hafencity' now, but thats because they are assholes). It was very hot and one of the canals was nearly dry for some reason. A bit of Armageddon in the sunshine.
A furry VW Käfer. People are more weird than it seems possible. Must be quite comfy in the Winter (which is, as we know, comming).
Some kind of rail track cleaning machine. It was pitch black, and the machine had a giant corona of sparks and smoke. Very impressing, and a bit spooky too.
This was the fountain at the uni hamburg campus, about 2008-ish i guess. They hat these ponton like boxes with green stuff in, and ducks where swimming everywhere.
Firework somewhere at the alster, view from this weird steppy thing at the campus, looking at the audimax.
The Jungle of northern hamburg. There may be Dragons. Well, probably not, but one might expect a party of $fantasycritters comming out of the green.
We DO having sub-arctic climate here, thank you so very much! Its only for the f*ing gulf stream that nobody seems to notice most of the time.
In germany we have a saying 'Farbe beim abblättern zusehen', which means doing something veeeery boring. This abgebläterte Farbe looks rather interesting i think.
Just some fotos. Some have a Story.
